We leave Nairobi early in the morning and drive through Thika town surrounded by extensive Pineapples plantations. After crossing the Tana river the source of much of Hydro power in Kenya, The landscapes changes and becomes lusher as you climb in to the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people, After crossing the Equator we drive over the shoulders of Mt. Kenya then down lowland to Meru national park,After lunch we take to an evening game drive.  Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Full day is spent game viewing in the Meru national park including a visit to George Adamson’s grave site. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

After breakfast we drive out to the park gate with game drive en route, we arrive in Samburu game reserve time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive, Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Samburu Game reserve is rich in wildlife not seen in other parts of Kenya. Here you will find the long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, endangered Beisa Oryx and the blue – shanked Somali ostrich, all common to the northern province of Kenya. Watch for elephant, rhino, lion, and buffalo. An occasional crocodile will appear on the banks of the Uaso Ngiro River .All meals and overnight at the camp/lodge. Samburu Game Reserve is situated in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya’s vast Northern Frontier District. The area is home to the Samburu tribe, pastoral relatives of the Masai. The landscape is rugged and dramatic – against a backdrop of volcanic mountains, gaunt hills and withered scrub tree punctuate the sparse and dry terrain with clusters of the incredibly hardy desert rose providing the ocassional flash of vivid colour. The Ewaso Nyiro River, lifeline of the area, runs along the southern boundary dividing Samburu from Buffalo Springs Reserve. Crocodile and hippo share the river with the many small herds of elephant which bathe and frolic in the muddy brown waters during the heat of the day before returning later to browse on the lush vegetation of the riverine forest. Buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and plains game may also be seen but a special feature of this Reserve are the various species of game unique to these northern parks – Beisa oryx, the long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and the blue shanked Somali ostrich.

After b/fast we Depart samburu in the morning for Lake Nakuru,we drive past Mt.kenya to Thomson falls, via Rift Valley arriving Nakuru in time for lunch, Afternoon game drive at the Pink lake referred so for it’s thousands of pink flamingos and other bird-life-it’s a Bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of animals, all the “big five” can be seen here, except the elephant, Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge

On arrival you will check in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon game drive with a visit to Hells Gate National Park which allows walking safari, Hiking, Bicycling ride, Rock climbing and photography of wildlife and a visit to geothermal power plant. Later dinner and overnight at hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Elsamere. Enjoy Boat riding, and nature walks. Later dinner and overnight at hotel.

Depart for Nairobi early morning after breakfast. Visit the Giraffe Manor and David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage. Transfer to hotel of choice or drop off at airport for depart. Optional: Carnivore dinner experience.
